NYX I Dream Of Antigua Eyeshadow Palette Look and Tutorial
Monday, November 8, 2010
As promised, here is a look using the NYX I Dream of Antigua 5-piece eyeshadow palette, the same palette Selena Gomez used at the 2010 MTV Music Awards. As I had mentioned, I love the nice, smooth texture and good pigmentation. I don't usually wear blues but I like this look. Here's a step-by-step. All products NYX unless otherwise stated.
Apply Urban Decay primer potion in Sin all over lid and lower lashline. Using a fluffy shader brush, apply MAC Delft paint pot on lid.
Using a stiff shader brush like the 239, apply the third shadow from the left on the lid.
Using the Sonia Kashuk blender brush, apply second shadow from the left on crease.
Blend with the MAC 224 brush.
Using the same Sonia Kashuk brush, apply 4th shadow from the left.
Using the same brush, apply the 5th shadow from the left.
Blend harsh edges with the MAC 224 brush.
Apply first shadow from the left on the browbone using Stila No. 5 brush.
Line eyes using MAC Blacktrack fluidline and MAC 109 brush. Using a detail taklon paintbrush, apply light blue color on lower lashline and dark blue on outer lashline. Tightline using L'Oreal Extra Intense Liquid Pencil eyeliner in Black.
Apply falsies.
Apply mascara.

That looks absolutely GORGEOUS!
What a pretty look!! The blues are soft and very flattering to your brown eyes!
fashionedinfinland and Marcey - thanks ladies! I am loving the color as well. I usually prefer greens over blues but I admit I did like NYX's shades in this palette. :)
