NARS was backstage creating the look at the Honor SS2011 show.

TREND: Accentuated Eyes & Nude Lips
INSPIRATION: “Elegant femininity inspired by Catherine Deneuve and Grace Kelly with an edge of rebellion like Cyndi Lauper,” said Honor designer Giovanna Randall about the look and inspiration. With the venue set up like a Parisian apartment, the idea was to communicate a merge of innocent femininity and bold sexuality.
LOOK: A round-shaped eye combined with a nude matte lip and an overall blended effect. “We wanted the look to be clean and simple so not to distract from the clothes,” said James Boehmer. To keep the face soft, features were kept streamlined by not using mascara.

Hey, not sure if I've ever commented here before but I should, b/c I'm often referring to your blog for swatches. Anyhooow...I am liking the clothing from all these S/S photos I'm seeing all over the place but I am loathing the makeup. The first two are so UGH to me but the third of all three models is pretty. I can appreciate a natural look and I understand people piling on products to look natural but to pile them on to look like you just woke up or have a bad cold, I don't get. These aren't as bad as some that I've seen but I think it's a weird trend. I'm much more excited to delve into fall's dark lips and perfect complexion makeup!
