I was excited to try Physician's Formula Organic Wear Makeup Removers that come in two variants: the pads that are specifically targeted for taking off eye makeup, and the towelettes that are used for the entire face. Physician's Formula is proud to label these products as organic: Hypoallergenic. 100% Free of Harsh Chemicals. 100% Free of Synthetic Preservatives. 100% Free of Parabens. 100% Free of GMO's. 100% Free of Synthetic Colors. 100% Free of Synthetic Fragrances. 100% Cruelty Free. Perfect for the green lover in everyone of us!
The packaging has improved a lot in my opinion, because these were previously housed in recyclable aluminum jars. While they looked chic and eco-friendly, they weren't very travel-friendly. They are now contained in new foil soft packs that are perfect for travel, to place in your gym bag or overnight bag for quick out-of-town trips. I really like the new soft packaging and they are even small enough to put in my purse.
Eye Makeup Remover Pads:

These eye makeup remover pads are gentle, alright. They are infused with Organic Cucumber Extract to soothe the delicate skin of the eye area. I like that they are really moist and not just semi-moist, which means that the company didn't scrimp on ingredients.
The Physician's Formula website boasts of a list of organic ingredients that are pretty impressive- "Formulated with Eco-Aroma Therapy™ to condition and soothe: OrganiSoy® to moisturize and help nourish lashes; Eco-Olive®, natural antioxidant, to help shield lashes from harsh environmental aggressors; Organic Orange Water to help nourish and restore delicate skin's moisture balance; Organic Lavender Essential Oil, sweet, natural scent for a calming effect."
MY TAKE ON THE EYE MAKEUP REMOVER PADS: I almost always wear full eye makeup every time I leave the house- eye primer, shadows, liner, mascara. These took out most of my eye makeup, but left a lot of mascara on the undereye area, making me look like a racoon. I cleaned it up again using the same pad, but it wouldn't take out much of the mascara, unfortunately. It does have a very pleasant, light scent that is not cloying, and the cool texture of the pad on my eye soothed it.
Edited To Add: I tried it again tonight and surprisingly, the pad worked a lot better. I believe the trick is to place the pad over the eye and let the solution on the pad sink into the makeup to make it work. It took several wipes of the pad to take off the mascara, but it did eventually. It is still not as great as I thought it would be, but it wasn't that bad either. Remember: the trick is to put the pad over the eye area (with closed eyes) for several seconds before wiping off the makeup. This makes the product seep into the makeup to properly take it off, and it will save you several additional wipes over the eye area that can make your skin raw.

Organic Wear Makeup Remover Towelettes:
MY TAKE ON THE MAKEUP REMOVER TOWELETTES: Now these are better, in my opinion. The towelettes are pretty large in size; one towelette encompassed my entire hand and then some. They have the same scent as the pads- fresh, light, non-cloying. It also has a soothing scent, which I think is the effect of the lavender essential oil in this product. They are also very moist, which means a lot to me since I have a lot of gunk on my face at the end of the day.
I used to just wash my makeup off with facial cleanser because I think that alone would clean all the gunk off my face, but I was wrong. Facial wipes help a lot in taking off excess oil and dirt that cleansers can't. I was wearing Chanel Mat Lumiere liquid foundation when I used this product, and it took out most if not all of the foundation. It also has a very soft, non-abrasive surface and texture which I liked because it felt very gentle on my sensitive skin that had undergone chemical peeling.
All in all, I am loving the facial towelettes. It is perfect for my makeup products and I will be using these everyday prior to using my facial cleanser. It took out even stubborn liquid makeup like Chanel Mat Lumiere, so that is a huge plus in my book.
