Parlez-Vous OPI? may be my most favorite OPI polish ever. The color is gorgeous, the staying power is fantastic, the finish absolutely beautiful. This batch of OPI (from the France collection) is probably the best one I've tried in terms of finish and formula. Application was a cinch, never streaked, pro-wide brush is a godsend, and holy crap, the staying power is the best. I wish OPI would return to this formula, because the formula of the new batches (HongKong collection, particularly) was really disappointing to say the least- too thick and was a P.I.T.A. to apply.
As for Parlez-Vous OPI?, I was particularly drawn to the beautiful purple with grey undertones. I believe Parlez-Vous was a trail-blazer in terms of these kinds of grey-infused shades, and some of them like Sephora by OPI's Metro Chic even became a cult favorite. Since grey-lilac lipsticks work well with my skintone, I believe the same is true with grey-lilac nail polishes. The cool tones complemented instead of clashed with my strong warm skintone.
I Konadified this using image plate in m31 and Konad special polish in White.
