I am a realist and I know that facial products especially eye creams don't deliver miracles. However, I do expect that the product delivers when it comes to moisturizing the eye area, and I expect that I constantly feel that moisture upon application and several hours after that. I expect my eye cream to make my delicate eye area feel smooth and supple upon application, and to feed moisture to my eye area - the longer it does, the better.
I have been trying The Body Deli's Firming Flax eye cream for several weeks now, and I've got to say that I'm quite satisfied with its performance. While it doesn't create miracles, I do feel tell-tale signs that it tightens and firms the surrounding eye area and keeps my skin soft and moisturized.

As you can see, one pump of the bottle shows how rich and thick the concoction is. You can do a half-pump and it will be enough to use for both eye areas.
Blended into the skin
Upon application, I can feel the richness of the product being absorbed into the skin. As I had mentioned, a very very subtle skin-tightening on my part could be felt. It almost seems to be a figment of my imagination, but it's too consistent to be one.
The Body Deli's website describes the product as follows:
Feed the delicate eye area with firming omega fatty acid rich Flax Seed Oil. Rejuvenate fine lines and wrinkles with Resveratol Red Wine Extract combined with the bio-active fruit and vegetable Fresh Cells. This delivers a highly effective cream that will impart a fresher and more youthful appearance to the eye area.
The Body Deli is one of those few companies that maintain the chemical-free concept for their products. If you are part of the growing population of consumers that want only the most natural and freshest products to touch their skin, free of chemicals that have barely been tested for long-term effects on the face and body, then it wouldn't hurt to take a peek at the products The Body Deli has to offer.
Here is a list of ingredients for the Firming Flax eye cream:
Organic Aloe Vera Juice, Alkaline Water, Organic Flax Seed Oil, Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, Fresh Cells of Pumpkin, Carrot & Pomegranate, Raspberry Seed C02 Extract, Organic Olive Leaf Extract, Vegetable Emulsifying Wax, Beeswax, Squalane, Polysorbate, White & Green Tea Extracts, Resveratrol, Retinyl Palmitate, DiMethylAminoEthanol, D-alpha-tocopherol, Tocotrienols, Beta Fructan, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Beta-Glucosamine, L-alpha bisabolol, Chamomile (L-complex), Malic Acid, MSM, Essential Oils of Blue Chamomile & Potassium Sorbate
I am glad to see that many of the ingredients are extracts of common vegetables and fruits that we know are chockful of anti-oxidants that fight free-radicals. I am also pleased that it comes in a 1 oz sanitary pump that goes a long way since you only need a little to cover the entire eye area.

Thanks for this review. I'd never heard of The Body Deli before but I like the look of a lot of the stuff on their website.
