MY TAKE: I used to love fragrances of all kinds until I got pregnant. My hormones probably got zapped because during the entire pregnancy and thereafter, my olfactory nerves have become really sensitive. I cannot just wear any fragrance, and even if I like the scent, it has to conform to the whims of my body and mind, or else it will cause excruciating migraines.

I was given the opportunity to try Avon's newest fragrance offering called Eternal Magic with Zoe Saldana as the model and spokesperson. I was really hoping that it would work well with both my olfactory senses and my body chemistry, since I am a little on the sensitive side when it comes to fragrances. Amazingly, this product did not disappoint.
The scent is a velvety rose and orris blended with warm vanilla and creamy woods. It has the following notes:
Top Notes: Sheer Violet, Sicilian Bergamot, Pink Peppercorn
Heart Notes: Princess Monaco Rose, Orris, Magnolia Leaves
Base Notes: Creamy Vanilla Warmth, Transparent Woods, Fluffy Cloud Accord
I love the woodsy vanilla fragrance, and there are also floral notes that surface when I smell this. I love the combination and does not give me a headache. I wore this on a night-out with girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed the scent. It's mysterious in a way but not cloying or mature-smelling. A whiff reminds me of mystery and yet also a little playfulness of a woman - not super young, but not very old, either. It's easy on the nose and perfect for a summer evening - light and airy, and yet woodsy and mysterious.
As for the packaging, I like that Avon fully conceptualizes the look of the product and doesn't skimp on ideas. I am in love with the cap. It's open and yet it has this little arched stopper/cap to prevent accidental spritzes. Quite unique, I must say.
