Daytime Lilacs and Deep Purples Using Illamasqua and MAC Eye Shadows

Earlier this week, I made a review on my Illamasqua eyeshadow in Creep. It is a pretty matte lavender eyeshadow that I decided to pair with some of my MAC shadows lying around.

I used my beautiful Sorceress eye shadow palette from the Holiday 2009 Magic, Mirth, and Mischief. I love the combination of lavenders and deep eggplant purples. All eye products MAC unless otherwise specified.

Apply Urban Decay primer potion in Sin all over lid and browbone and lower lashline. Using a stiff shader brush, apply Illamasqua Creep on lid.

Using the 224 brush, apply Hypnotizing on crease.

Using the Sonia Kashuk blender brush, apply Altered State on crease.

Using the same blender brush, apply more Altered State on outer V.

Blend the harsh edges softly with the 224.

Using Stila Brush No. 5, apply White Rabbit on browbone to highlight.

Apply L'Oreal Lineur Intense in Black liquid liner on upper lashline. Rim eyes (waterline and tightline) using Urban Decay 24/7 glide-on liner pencil in Zero. Apply mascara.

(Sorry no falsies! I kept the look light and easy to make it an appropriate daytime look.)

Nikki-thanks lovely! I know, right? I don't think I wear too many mattes on my lid; it's time for a change! =)

Robin- thank you! I love that MAC palette as well - the colors are not boring but they are not over-the-top either, and the shades apply well on the skin. =)
