Konad Nail Art and Review On Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Loella
Thursday, April 15, 2010
Here's a toothache-inducing manicure with Konad Nail Art using Illamasqua Nail Varnish in Loella. It is described on the Sephora site as a shimmering candy pink. In the bottle, you can see the shimmer easily in real life, but when worn, it is quite subtle on the nails. Loella is more of a bright cotton candy pink. I added some nail art using Konad image plate in m51 and Konad Special Polish in Violet Pearl.
As for the packaging, I had to get used to the square cap because it went in the way of how I control the brush. The square black cap and the petite bottle look really classy, though. I really loved the formula of this nail polish. It was just right: neither too thick nor too runny. I am really looking forward to try the lavender polish from Illamasqua as I am a sucker for lilacs and purples, especially since I found out how easy it was to apply this formula. This particular color (Loella) does not complement my skintone, however, so I am looking forward to try other shades. This also dried quite well, and finish is a subtly shimmering pink.
The Shades Of U Rating: 4.0 out of 5 stars
