Fauxnad Nail Stamp Art: Essie in Mink Muffs and China Glaze in Passion
Saturday, April 3, 2010
I think this is going to be one of my favorite designs. I got this image from a huge plate from chez-delaney.com. This website really makes great fauxnad plates because they really apply easily on the nail. Also, the big fauxnad plates have HUGE images, so they can cover the entire nailbed easily even for those with longer nails. I think the image I used has these little scribbles that were made to look like intertwining chain links. So funky and cool. =)
Essie nail lacquer in Mink Muffs is gorgeous. It was one of my untrieds and I've had this for so long now but haven't used it till now. It's a beautiful cool taupe/brown creme. Staying power is good and it's such a classy color. I used China Glaze Romantique polish in Passion for the image. As some of you probably know, Romantiques work great for Konad. So go ahead and use them as your image polish. Passion is my favorite Konad/fauxnad gold. The color went so well with Mink Muffs, and also worked great with the gold bracelets I'm wearing. Best of all, it's so easy to apply Passion on the image plate, and it clings to the rubber of the stamp really well. Love it.
