Konad Nail Stamp Art: OPI Japanese Rose Garden
Thursday, March 25, 2010
I love girly-girl nail art but I think this image from Konad image plate m71 is my favorite of them all. I just love the lacey (fishnet?) pattern, and the tip design is so cute. I also absolutely love that it is a full nail design and yet it doesn't appear too busy to my eyes, for some reason. I used Konad special polish in White for the image.
However, I think the best part is the base polish. OPI Japanese Rose Garden is probably one of the best pinks I own, from the lovely medium pink color to the gorgeous slightly shimmery finish. It makes the tips look so feminine and the pearly sheen is soooo pretty. It has the same finish as my number 1 OPI polish ever, Color of the Zen-tury, but Japanese Rose Garden is a close second. Outstanding finish, color and great staying power- no wonder I always go back to OPI. I wish OPI would come up with more of this pearly sheeny finish these days; most of the collections they have lately either have matte, cream or glitter finishes. I miss these pearly (but NOT frosty) polishes!

Very beautiful and it would be great for elegant occasions even for a wedding.

WOW
that is amazing
well done :D
Thank you lovelies! It is indeed such a GORGEOUS shade. The Japan collection of OPI has some of the best OPIs IMO. Too bad they're LE.
This is probably my fave nail art look you've posted. I'm considering taking the Konad plunge and I'm wondering if you *really* need the Special Polishes, or can you use your own for the stamp image? Thanks!!
Amazing color and awesome art...
Love this :)
