I store most of them in my 6-drawer Helmer that I got from Ikea. It's pretty nifty since it can hold hundreds of polishes, but honestly, I've only used 5 of the 6 drawers, although I have another drawer by my desk that was specifically built by my husband to store polishes, and that's what I use.
This is a stock photo of the Helmer from Ikea. I chose white to blend with the colors of the bedroom.
First Helmer drawer: my OPIs. I have yet to organize these by color. I added those rubberized mats underneath so the polishes stay upright when you pull the drawer. If you don't put rubberized mats, the polishes tend to migrate and fall all over the place when you pull the handle.
Second Helmer drawer: my China Glazes and a few Essies.
Third Helmer drawer: Misas, Milanis, Finger Paints, my Sponge Nail Art kit, a package of orange sticks, and striper nail art polishes.
Fourth Helmer drawer: Zoyas, nail art pens, Seche Vite professional kit. I bought the nail art pens on Ebay and some of them leaked during shipment, as you can see. They're all working fab, though.
Fifth Helmer drawer: Barielle polishes, Barielle nail treatment products, Hard Candy polishes, Konad nail stamp art special polishes, and Lippmann nail lacquers.
Custom-made nail polish drawer courtesy of my husband that I keep by my desk: Orly, MAC, a few random polishes and top and base coats. The majority of my staple base, top, and Konad top coats are on top of my desk for easy reach.
Konad nail stamp kit that I keep under my bed. LOL
That's it for now! I still have one more Helmer drawer to fill. LOL

omg aileen... i want all of your nail polish. lol. now that's a lot! I too love nail polishes and all the diff colors but i have no patience to do my nails anymore well of course cuz of the baby. but I totally love a lot of the OPI and CG colors and I always stop myself from buying any cuz i know i won't use it all lol.
I think I want to order that Helmer.

Jackie- aww girl you deserve it every now and then! But I do understand, when I was preggy I was really doing my own manicures, but once I popped out the baby I didn't do my nails for a full year! LOL but when the baby gets a bit older you'll find time to do it. Hugs to you and your little one!

iamsutil= hahaha, you got caught by the K bug too? =) If you're intent on using it seriously, I suggest get a bigger kit because it's cheaper in the long run instead of buying bit by bit. If you just want to try it first, though, get the basic with just 3 colors and a few plates. Goodluck!
chell- If you don't like a drawer, maybe a nail polish rack would be better for you?
i really want cheap polishes with striper brushes but i don't know where to get them cheap in east london!!!!! im sooooo jealous lol!!!!
