L'oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara Review

I'm sure many of you have heard or seen this mascara with its odd-shaped applicator. The wand tip surely reminds me of a chillingly violent scene in the film The Passion Of The Christ. Enough said.

The wand of the L'oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara is specially designed to reach into the inner corner lashes and even the bottom lashes. The good news is that - it actually worked. I used to loathe applying mascara in the inner corner lashes because I would always, ALWAYS poke my eye and smear mascara on my contact lens (and by then, the lens is doomed and could not be saved). With this innovative wand, I get to wiggle the applicator in the most difficult places and yet could still apply product properly.

As to its performance, it did lengthen my lashes considerably, but it didn't do anything to improve volume. I have thin, sparse lashes, so a volume-building mascara is imperative for me. However, this is not to say that I won't be able to use this. I always use two kinds of mascaras anyway - one for lengthening and I layer a volumizing mascara over it. The L'oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara would work as one of my lengthening mascaras, and as I said, this would be my go-to product for applying mascara on the inner corner lashes.

The L'oreal Telescopic Explosion Mascara retails for $10.59 and is available at leading drugstores and mass market retailers nationwide.

Camrenrai16- The smaller circular head lets you apply the product on the inner corner lashes easily and without poking your eye. It also applies mascara on the lower lashline better.

crystal-hehe, yup, it looks like an ancient torturing device!

Too bad it doesn't do much volumizing. :( I'll have to try it out though.

I have purchused this mascara about a week ago, because i have heard the wand made application easier and you could reach every lash. When I first tried this mascara I felt like I had to get it of my lashes immediatly. It clumped them, glued them together, and crusted them. I felt very grossed out. I went on to my usual mascara (Victoria's Secret Blacktastic Mascara), ignoring the l'oreal teloscopic explosion mascara sitting next to it. But one night I decided to try it out again, I thought, maybe I was just expecting too much or maybe I had just done something wrong(yeah, right!). I used it with a lashcomb to get rid of all the clumbs. It seemed alright, even though my lashes still seemed glued together and crusty. But after about 10 minuits I felt my eyes itching. I pulled out my mirror and saw my eyes disgustingly red! That's when I just gave up on this product loosing all hope. Who wants irritaded eyes? The only thing I liked about this product was teh length it gave to my lashes. I am very dissapointed.
