Konad Nail Stamp Art: Gold Butterflies and Barielle Blackened Bleu

Note: I am unsure if the image is a butterfly or a flower or a fairy, so I apologize if I'm wrong!
I got some image plates from wowsocool.com, so I'd thought of showing you some of the plates. I really like the fancy french tips. I also bought the Princess nail polishes (special Konad polishes) in Chocolate and Silver. I have not taken photos of them yet, but I will be featuring them in another entry together with my Barielle polish hauls.
Speaking of Barielle, I recently acquired a significant amount of nail polishes from Barielle during their Labor Day Weekend mega sale. I received them a couple of days ago and I was blown away by how beautiful the shades are. The sale was "ginormous": the polishes were originally $8 each but with all the stackable codes available and the mega sale that weekend, plus the buy-2-get-1-free deal, the polishes boiled down to only a dollar something a pop. And the colors are breathtaking as well. I will be making a separate entry for my Barielle polish review, but for now, here's a simple Konad with the first of the Barielle polishes that I wore.
Blackened Bleu was the first polish I pulled out from my Barielle package, and I really gasped when I saw it - the color looked so beautiful in the bottle. The name describes itself- a blackened blue that truly sparkles when light hits it. I used my China Glaze Romantique polish in Passion for the butterfly image - I think the gold went well with the dark background. Honestly, though, I feel that Blackened Bleu would have been more beautiful had I worn it without the Konad, because the image distracts from the regal beauty of this color. However, I also like the contrast the gold butterfly provided. Anyways, I will be featuring swatches of my Barielle polish haul, so stay tuned.
