Two coats under noon sunlight
I have shown most of the swatches from the MAC Nail Trend by Jin Soon Choi collection HERE and HERE, but I have not posted a swatch of Cool Reserve yet, so here it is. I really like this shade, and it's probably one of my favorites from that collection. I've always loved lavender/lilac infused with grey undertones, so this is totally up my alley. I noticed that cool tones make my hands look cleaner, neater and it doesn't give that dark cast to my skin. I am staying away from oranges, coppers, or any very warm-toned polishes as they look horrendous on my hands. With Cool Reserve, I like that it's neutral enough for work, but very pretty for such events as weddings, dinners, and other special occasions. Two coats resemble OPI's Done Out In Deco, however it has more grey undertones. With three coats, the purple/lilac tones are overshadowed by the grey/brown and it almost looks like a greyish-mushroom shade.
3 coats under late afternoon sunlight
With the change in lighting, it almost looks like brown in the photo above, but it's not; it still retains its grey undertones. I really love this color. I added some Konad images which make it look quite feminine.
