Easy Weekend Neutrals Using MAC Blonde's Gold Pigment and Coastal Scents 88 Warm Palette

I used my MAC Blonde's Gold pigment for this light, easy neutral look last Sunday. Blonde's Gold is one of my favorite MAC pigments, even though I felt I was shortchanged when I received my brand-new pigment (see pic above). Nonetheless, this pigment is gorgeous and if you love golds and neutrals, you will enjoy using this again and again.

I used my 88 Warm palette's deeper colors on the crease and outer V. Please see the photo above for the particular colors used in the step-by-step illustration below.

I was glad I was able to snag this Urban Decay liquid liner in Smog for only $8 at Sephora (originally $18). It's a metallic deep green olive that is the new neutral liner for me. Brown and black are kinda boring, so this lovely color is my new neutral eye staple.

I used Joppa mineral foundation for this look in the full coverage formula. I love this brand of mineral makeup as it really looks very smooth and flawless on the skin, and the kaolin clay properties help heal blemishes and breakouts. I wasn't able to wash my face before I went to bed, but instead of creating more blemishes, my mineral foundation helped heal existing ones and even diminished my zits in size.

All products MAC unless otherwise specified.

Apply Butternutty shadestick all over lid, browbone and lower lashline. Using Loew Cornell Maxine's Mop 3/8" shader brush, foil Blonde's Gold using Charged Water and apply on lid.

Apply Shadow A from the 88 Warm palette using the Sonia Kashuk blender brush.

Blend using the 224.

Apply Shadow B from the 88 Warm palette using the Sonia Kashuk blender brush. Blend using the 224.

Apply Urban Decay liquid liner in Smog on lower lashline. Apply Shadow C from the 88 Warm palette using the 227 brush.
