Caress Evenly Gorgeous Exfoliating Body Wash and Beauty Bar Review

I was really excited to try this new Caress Evenly Gorgeous exfoliating body wash with its beauty bar partner. We sometimes use the ordinary Caress beauty bar at home, but these new exfoliating cleansers are a major step up. The first thing you notice when you open the bottle of the body wash is the intoxicating scent of burnt brown sugar and karite butter. I swear, my shower stall smells like freshly baked cookies or cinnamon buns while I'm in the shower. I just love amazingly-scented body washes, but I really don't like flowery, amber or some fruit scents. When I tried this, though, I realized this is exactly how I want my body wash to smell like - homey, fragrant, comforting, but not cloying or heavy in floral notes.

Second, it has tiny exfoliating beads that slough off dead skin cells, revealing supple, soft, even-toned skin. I like that the beads are small enough not to leave gunk and clog the drain, but they're also sturdy enough to do exactly what they're made to do. I like that it exfoliates to get rid of dead skin, but the product gently moisturizes as well.

I honestly can't think of any downside to this product. The upsides are the yummy scent of burnt brown sugar and karite butter, the gentle exfoliating and yet moisturizing properties, the thick consistency of the product (not too runny like some of the body washes I've tried), the small exfoliating beads, and the affordable price (18 fl. oz. or 532 ml. for $6.99). If you prefer your exfoliating cleanser in bars, the Caress Evenly Gorgeous beauty bar is perfect for you.
