Konad Nail Art: Music and Me

I've always wanted to use this m73 image of the music notes, and I now have the perfect reason to. I love MAC's Mercenary nail lacquer; the burnt bronze color just looks very edgy yet classy at the same time. I used the black Konad special polish so that the Konad would look subtle on my nails since I wore this to work. These pictures were shot under direct sunlight or camera flash, but in ordinary lighting, you can hardly see the design unless you peer closely.

For the past three weeks, I've been keenly watching and awaiting news on Michael Jackson. His was the music I grew up on, and up until this decade, he and his music were so omnipresent and just about everywhere, I'd felt that he was - well, immortal. Now that he's physically gone, I feel like I've lost somebody whom I personally knew, and I really feel the loss of arguably the greatest entertainer who ever lived. I don't want to focus on the negative, but no one can argue about the depth of his genius and how he singlehandedly changed the music industry. He raised the bar, then broke the bar, as was spoken about him during his memorial. I thought of doing this Konad image in his memory, and I want to call it Music and Me, named after one of his songs as a young artist.
