Neem and Avocado Balancing Moisturizer
Skin Type: Normal

A combination of superior natural botanicals and moisture-regulation technology that provides targeted moisture for drier areas and sebum absorption for oilier areas.

I am currently road-testing this product from Sundari, which bases its philosophy on ancient eastern rule of thought that focuses on the wholeness and well-being of both the mind and the body. A body that is in tune with nature is in tune with itself, and such synergy with nature radiates. I have only been using this product for several days, so this is just an initial review. I will be coming up with a more detailed review once my skin has fully adjusted and responded to the concoction.

My initials thoughts on this product: I quite like it. Upside: I love the fruity, albeit non-cloying scent. It smells like it has just been harvested from nature, and yet smells clean and fresh. As you can see from the photo, the consistency is light, but it really does moisturize effectively. It is one of the few moisturizers I see on the market that target normal to combination skin. This is a great product for those with combination skin like mine, because it provides targeted moisture for drier areas and sebum absorption for oilier areas. Thus, when you apply it on your skin, you don't end up looking like you smeared lard all over your face. It's not greasy at all, but amazingly, you can feel your skin becoming soft and supple. This would be a great summer moisturizer, in my opinion - light, not cloying, soothing but it effectively moisturizes. This would also be a great moisturizer for those living in humid and hot climates.

Downside: I don't recommend this for those with dry skin, for obvious reasons. If you have normal skin, this would be a worthy product to try, especially during the summer. If you have combination skin, this would be a nice year-round product.

Last Saturday night, I was with my in-laws in California and they were commenting about how nice and clear my skin looked. I could only think of three products that could have done that: my mineral foundation (which was applied very lightly), my Body Deli Creme De La Rose moisturizer which I had been using for quite a while before I used Sundari, or the Sundari Neem and Avocado moisturizer which I had been using for a few days, or maybe all three. Whatever it was, my skin loved it! I will be coming up with a follow-up review on this moisturizer, so stay tuned!
