Bright Spring Colors Using Aromaleigh Shadows

Here is a step-by-step illustration using Aromaleigh Pure Hue and Rocks! Sonic eyeshadows. Be warned that this is a super bright look celebrating spring colors. Aromaleigh's pigments are truly saturated with color with a capital C. Just a little of these products would yield an amazingly vibrant look. I also used my new MAC Grand Duo mineralize blush in Moon River for this look, and I really like how dewy the finish is. All products Aromaleigh unless otherwise stated.

Apply MAC Beige-ing shadestick all over lid, brows, and lower lashline. Smooth product on the lid with finger. Apply Sunshine dry on the lid using a stiff shader brush (Loew Cornell Maxine's Mop 3/8"). Use quick, patting motions when applying the shadow.

Using the other side of the same brush, apply Googoomuck on the mid to outer lid.

Using the same brush, apply Grass on outer lid.

Using the MAC 224 brush, blend the three colors together to soften harsh lines.

Apply Estranged sparingly on the edges of each shadow and softly blend with the 224.

Apply MAC shadow in Grand Entrance on outer V and crease using Sonia Kashuk blender brush, blending into Grass. Blend with the 224.

Using Stila No. 5 brush, apply MAC Ricepaper shadow to highlight. Using Sonia Kashuk mini-contour/detail brush, apply Sunshine on inner to mid-lower lashline, and Grass on outer lower lashline.

Line eyes using MAC Blacktrack fluidline. Apply Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero on waterline and tightline. Apply Revlon Fantasy Lengths falsies in Intensifying #91002. Apply mascara.

Wow. Absolutely gorgeous! I must admit when I first saw the eyeshadow colors in the baggies, I said to myself there is no way the final result will look right but the final result looks beautiful!! You are really great at eye makeup application. I truly appreciate your tutorials. Also, thanks for the detailed reviews of various products. This morning, I tried for the first time the Aromaleigh Ultra Resolution finishing powder in clear and so far I am loving it! It really did blur my pores (which tend to look huge on my cheeks like moon craters). I also have samples in translucent and peaches n cream and I can't wait to try them as well.

The end result is absolutely stunning But in the baggies they don't look so impressive, good job.

What's your thoughts on the Grand Duo's since you are rocking two?

Can you please tell me if you use a product to fill in your eyebrows and if so, what product is it? I currently use an eyebrow pencil to fill in sparse areas but I think I may need to try something else.

izumi- thank you! I like MAC's greens, they are very vibrant and really pretty. I suggest Humid, it's amazing for the crease and outer V, and Bitter for inner lid or as a wash. Sumptuous Olive is a nice olive green as well. But don't be afraid of loose pigments, they are amazing and with enough practice, they will be very easy to apply as well. :)

Nikki and Paint Me Gorgeous- thank you! :)

A- Green has always been my favorite color, even as a teenager. My bridal motif was green. I'm glad it's loving me back. :D

Chrystal- I use Anastasia Brow powder, pencil and brow gel. You can check out my labels, my entries on Anastasia are under "Anastasia of Beverly Hills". I'm glad you're loving Aromaleigh Ultra Resolution finishing powders! They are truly the best I've tried and Peaches & Cream is my holy grail.

Face2MAC- Grand Duos collection review with swatches is up next on this blog. Watch out for it, and thanks for visiting! :)
