New York, NY – February 23, 2009 – On Friday, February 20, 2009, Mehron, Inc. took the runway and teamed up with Indashio for the designer’s “Five Years in Fashion” fashion show. Each model was transformed into the inspiration and illusion of Indashio’s masterpiece creations using Mehron’s famous Paradise body makeup and LUX Airbrush makeup products.
All hand painted by the Mehron team of experts, a parade of fantasy-fashion models strutted the runway in Indashio’s sexy designs. Inspired by themes he developed through the years, each model represented a vision from one of his previous shows—Paper Dolls, Las Vegas, Edward Scissorhands, Rags to Riches and Candy. Led by Jinny, an exclusive Mehron artist, co-creator of Mehron’s Paradise body makeup and world renowned master bodypainter, served as key makeup artist alongside Chicago ’s hottest airbrush artist Mario Ink. Together, they transformed the models into Indashio’s enchanting creations using Mehron’s famous Paradise and LUX products.
More than 300 celebrities and VIP’s packed the Samsung Experience. Spectators were vying for position from the steps of the venue. Jam-packed inside and out, the hi-tech Samsung Experience provided the perfect backdrop for the star-studded audience. Celebrities such as designers Richie Rich and Terri Steven, Samantha Cole, Alexander Allen, Tony Williams, Stacey McKenzie, radio personality Egypt, shoe designers Shane & Shawn Ward and Martin Melik, owner and CEO of Mehron, Inc. all had front row seats to support the imaginative designer.
