Garnier Fructis and American Idol: Sing In The Shower and Win!

Think you’re ready to step into the spotlight? Garnier Fructis, the official hair care sponsor of American Idol, has launched a nationwide contest. Anyone over the age of 18 is invited to rock their style by showcasing their favorite song.

Fully clothed contestants are asked to perform up to 1 minute of a selected tune and upload their video submissions to the web. Entrants are encouraged to let their personality shine and will be judged on their originality, style and creativity. Deadline for entries is March 16th 2009.





Semi-finalists will be selected and their videos will be uploaded to the garnier.com/idol website by April 1st, where their videos can be reviewed and voted on through April 30th. The semi-finalist with the most votes wins the grand prize which will be posted on the garnier.com/idol website or about May 15th 2009.

The grand prize winner and a guest will be flown to Los Angeles and attend the American Idol 2009 season finale, receive $5,000 cash, and a fabulous hair style makeover.
