I finally got my Aromaleigh holiday shadow samples after only two business days. That is quite fast, especially since they are presently having a sale. I love them, especially the neutrals. I got full sizes of High Heels, Sneak a Peak and Re-gifted, and they are gorgeous colors. They are really fun to play around with.
The swatches were applied wet without a base. I am really loving the full size shadows I got, but I also want to go back and get full sizes of Champagne Toast, Cookie Party and Times Square. These are pretty neutrals that you can wear the whole year. I wore these three today at work and they are unassuming and perfect for the office but make the eyes bright and awake. High Heels is close to Champagne Toast in color but it is a tad cooler while the latter has more pink to it.
My full-size holiday shadows. My order qualified for a free Rocks! Sonic eyeshadow, and I chose Rock Bottom. It is a gorgeous deep brown that I often use in my looks as it is very versatile and perfect for crease work. It is also very pigmented and you need to use very little to achieve the look you want. Love it. Re-gifted is a gorgeous metallic copper that is closer to Party Dress but warmer in tone. High Heels is satin tea rose buff frost with subtle pink/red shimmer. Sneak A Peak is pigmented pewter roses with iridescent pink and shimmer. I just wish they aren't LE because they are just gorg.
I will be coming up with looks using these. Stock up on these while the store is still on sale.
