Happy Mail Day Part 2: Aromaleigh Bete Noire Eyeshadows

My Aromaleigh shadow samples have arrived!! I didn't expect much from this collection (being a true-blue fan of the Gothic Lolitas), but I was thrilled when I got to swatch these. Kristen has made another batch of winners in this collection. I love the very pigmented products and the beautiful highlights and lowlights in every shade. They were very smooth to apply, they glide easily on the skin, and the best part is they are just as pigmented as their Gothic Lolita cousins. My heart jumped and sank simultaneously when I counted how many of these I wanted full sizes of. I swatched them dry without a base, so just imagine how much more vibrant and pigmented they would be on a primed lid when foiled:

For official descriptions and product images, please check out Kristen's (Aromaleigh owner) blog.

Aren't they pretty? I can't wait to use these on my lids. I already made a list of the shades I want full sizes of: Viviane, Sabine, Darcelle, Jolie, Amarante, Solange, Chantal, Aurelie and Ambre. Hmm, why did I leave out a few, might as well get the entire collection! But it's pretty prohibitive for my budget to get all without a sale, so I'm waiting for one. I also love the names; it makes me wish I had a baby girl so I could give her a pretty French name. The sparkles in them are amazing, as well. The sparkles are different in color from the main product itself, so they contribute to the uniqueness of these shadows. I can't swatch them generously as I only have samples, but the products are beautiful and the nuances would surely show up on the lids when worn.

Pretty swatches, they are super pigmented, looks like MAC pigment colors :D

I’m getting Parlez Vous Opi in my next haul. It’s so nice!

What’s the purple Opi in the second picture?

Nikki- Yes they are as pigmented as MAC pigments, and they have more colors and textures. :)

melvel- parlez vous is becoming one of my top faves. Love it so much, and it lasts a loooong time on my tips. The purple one is Catherine the Grape. That's another fall fave.
