Here is a neutral, everyday look using mostly products from Earthen Glow Minerals. I tried to do an all-EG look so one can see how minerals can be as pigmented and rich as traditional makeup without the fillers and all that not-so-good stuff. Here are some of the items I used:
I LOVE this palette. I was a bit skeptical at first because I thought that since it's not traditional lipstick, it wouldn't come out as pigmented, but I was wrong. The lip creams are as pigmented as I'd wanted them to be, and they glide smoothly on the lips. Since these come in a palette, this would be great for travel, especially for those weekend getaways or out-of-town trips to attend a wedding or some special event.
This is the mother of all pigmented glosses! This sucker is not just pigmented, it's screaming. Whoever said that mineral glosses are sheer? I can't wait to use this on nights-out when I want my lips to be the center of attention. If this gloss can't command the attention your lips seek, I don't know what will.
I have not tried these shadows dry yet, but foiling them really brings forth a healthy dose of color on the lids, and they dry to a pretty, polished finish. Staying power is great, too.
NOTE: I shall be posting swatches of these products in future entries.
