Coastal Scents' Sugar Butter Delight Scrub

I had the pleasure of trying Coastal Scents' newest product, Sugar Butter Delight body scrub, made with unrefined shea butter and ultra moisturizing oils. Coastal Scents even made a claim that this product will leave one with the softest, silky skin upon leaving the shower, so much so that there is no need to apply lotion after application of this scrub. That made my expectations of this product quite high, and amazingly, it delivered.
I tried their Melon Coconut variant, and though I hate anything coconut-y, the Melon scent was the dominant fragrance, hence making my sugar scrub experience really pleasurable. I like the fact that the sugar granules are quite large, so exfoliating was a breeze. I applied the sugar scrub on my feet, elbows, hands, knees, and oh wow, did it slough away all the dead skin! The scent of the melon (and okay, coconut) was so good that the fragrance filled up my entire bathroom. I could see the water droplets from the shower head just slide off the part where I applied the scrub, meaning the oils and shea butter had truly made a protective coating over my skin, locking in moisture. Coastal Scents' claim was correct - I really didn't need lotion after my shower because it truly left my skin supple, moisturized and very soft. I hope Coastal Scents can come up with a body cream of this scent so I can layer them. Later during the day, I developed very chapped lips with yucky peeling skin, so I tried the sugar scrub on my lips and amazingly, it sloughed the peeling skin away as well, leaving soft, pink, dead skin-free lips. I will definitely be getting some more of these when my sample runs out. I just love bath products because it feels good to receive some small doses of pampering, and these sugar scrubs with rich, emollient shea butter just give your skin the occasional spoiling it deserves.
