Okay, I have been wearing neutrals for so long (as you can see in my entries) that I suddenly longed for pure, unadulterated color on my lids. This is also a glorious, 3-day weekend for many of us so I decided to do something I haven't done in a long time. I rummaged through my makeup stash and I discovered my MAC Delphic fluidline sitting forlornly at the bottom of one of my drawers. I bought it during the very much talked-about Lure collection launch last summer, almost a year ago, and I've only used it twice or thrice since then. You can only imagine how totally unloved it felt. I quickly fished it out and decided to put it out of its misery by using it for the first time in many, many months. I'm glad I did, it really makes eyes pop out, and the eye-catching color is just perfect for beautiful, balmy summer days and nights.

I love the full-face photo, in this post, in which you are looking down. It really gives a good overall effect of the colors you use. I've loved some (ok, ok... most!) of your eye looks, but it really helped me to see the overall effect of such powerful colors.
I'm fair skinned, and it is hard for me to use bright colors without looking clownish. I've really enjoyed your blog, and have used it to find new ideas for pushing some more color into my daily make-up.
