But back to Orchidazzle. It is simply beautiful, and together with my favorite lilac lipglass in Perky, they are the ultimate perfect pair. They have found each other's soulmate. Trust MAC to come up with the most funky-looking but surprisingly wearable purple lipstick that does not end up looking gothlike or circus-esque.
As for the blushes, they are just as exquisite; they are the perfect summer blushes. Fleurry is the perfect blush match for Pearl Sunshine beauty powder while Petalpoint is the blush match for Pearl Blossom. I'd thought any blush under Pearl Sunshine would just end up looking muddy, but I was wrong. Pearl Sunshine in fact enhanced the natural color of Fleurry, and they truly complement the other's finish and color. I am so glad I got both blushes. Like Orchidazzle and Perky, Fleurry and Pearl Sunshine are soulmates, as are Pearl Blossom and Petalpoint. I am amazed at how MAC comes up with colors and finishes that eventually end up being the best of partners. Soulmates indeed.
