Save for the initial cloyingly sweet taste, I think MAC slimshine lipsticks are the best lip products MAC has ever come up with. This is a beautiful marriage of lipstick's intense pigment and staying power, and lipgloss' luscious, shiny look. They really answer my two main requirements without using two different products - I want opaque, long-lasting color, and outstanding luscious sheen. I only got the Slimshine in Scant which is a tad too dark for my look - so I had to tone it down with my Superlustrous lipgloss. I'd like to get other Slimshines that are a bit more on the neutral/pale side - like Kissable. Too bad these are limited edition (I hate you MAC!). I can see these babies disappearing from shelves anytime soon.
