Long Stemmed Rose in Milan

Sounds romantic? It conjures images of wonderful Italian scenery, doesn't it? I particularly love the name of MAC's Slimshine in Long Stem Rose. The color does remind me of freshly-cut pink roses. As for Milan, I finally got my full-size version of their foundation in Kiana, and as usual, Milan's texture requires me to use a fluffy powder brush and sweep, not buff in the minerals. The result is a soft, natural coverage without looking cakey. I also bought one of Milan's perfume oils which is a dupe of Philosophy's Falling In Love scent, and I was pleasantly surprised at how generous the amount is in a roller-ball tube. For $3.50, I was expecting an almost-sample size amount (the one they give free in department stores), but I was wrong. This is a fairly substantial 1/3 oz. It smells really nice, and it's also very handy to keep in the purse or the office/car for touch-ups. I'm not really a fan of fragrances (not anymore, not after I had my son; somehow giving birth changes something in your olfactory nerves), but hey, for $3.50, how can I go wrong, right? I wanna try the other fragrances as well.

And finally, to herald the coming of summer, I wore some greens. I missed my green MAC shadows so much!
