Finding Amber in a Goldmine is To B-Rich

I experimented with my MAC shadows I had not used in quite a while, and I was pleasantly surprised with the combination.

Pure Luxe cream eraser as primer
Bare Escentuals foundation in Light 2.0
Mary Kay undereye concealer in Ivory topped with
LaurEss Yellow corrector/concealer
Bare Escentuals mineral veil
NARS blush in Madly
MAC Enriched Refined Bronzer to contour

Lips:
MAC lipliner in Spice
MAC lipstick in Brave
MAC lipglass in Spirited

Eyes:
MAC Beige-ing shadestick as base
MAC Ricepaper eyeshadow to highlight
MAC Goldmine eyeshadow inner to mid-lid
MAC Amber Lights eyeshadow on crease
MAC B-Rich eyeshadow on outer V
MAC fluidline in Graphic Brown
Maybelline Volume Express Turbo Boost mascara

My verdict on the LaurEss Yellow concealer: as much as I love the foundation, the concealer doesn't work for me - it's far too pale and too yellow for my skintone and makes me look sick and jaundiced. This is what I get for messing with my holy grail undereye concealer - Bare Escentuals Well-Rested. I just bought my second full-sized Well Rested jar from ULTA using my 20% off total purchase coupon, and I think that's a pretty good investment. My first Well-Rested pot lasted me a good year-and-a-half. Here's to another eighteen months of decent-looking undereye areas despite the lack of sleep and interrupted snooze because of a certain little boy asking for more juice in his sippy cup at three in the morning.
