Zoya Fall 2014: Entice Collection (creams)
Hi everyone! In a previous entry, posted my swatches and thoughts on the Zoya Fall 2014 Collection called Ignite - those were the metallic finish group. This time, it's all about the Zoya Fall 2014 Entice collection - a collection of rich, fall-perfect cream polishes.
As much as I love the metallics and shimmery polishes from the Zoya Ignite collection, I also yearn for classic creams, especially during fall. The creams are great to showcase rich, deep hues of the fall season, and I also like that creams are perfect for nail art or as a base for nail stamp or glitter toppers.
Here are my swatches of the Zoya Entice collection, and my thoughts on them.
Zoya Nyssa
Zoya Nyssa is a very pretty milk chocolate brown cream. I do have a number of milk chocolate browns in my admittedly vast collection, but Nyssa is special because it glides really well on the nail, and is opaque in two coats. This is the perfect office manicure - so professional.
Zoya Genevieve
Zoya Genevieve is described as a cool leather grey cream. I really like this, as this is quite edgy, and is perfect for fall.
Zoya Margo
Zoya Margo is described by Zoya as a "modern red plum cream". I see this as a toned-down fuchsia. Not my favorite from this collection, but still a pretty color.
Zoya Veronica
Zoya Veronica is beautiful. It is described as a "brilliant red wine cream", and I love how it looks rich and festive.
Zoya Ryan
Zoya Ryan is a cool indigo cream, and this is also one of my favorites from this collection. I just love how it looks against my skintone. This is going to be one of my favorite fall colors to wear this season.
Zoya Claire
Zoya Claire
Zoya Claire is a burgundy cream, and the darkest of all the red-based nail lacquers in this collection. It does look very fall-ish, and I am a fan. It looks like barbecue sauce to me, mmm!
All in all, this collection is typical Zoya in formula - very easy to apply, opaque in two coats, rich, saturated colors. I really can't say anything bad, except that to some with big nail polish collections, some of the shades are not unique, but since Zoya has good formula, it's worth it to snag a couple (or all!) to enjoy.
Zoya nail polish retails for $9 each and is available on Zoya.com.
