Hi guys! Usually, OPI comes up with a 12-color collection to herald the coming of the seasons or for certain themes. This time, OPI and Ford collaborate to celebrate the iconic car. Though this collection came out in the summer, the colors are bold and rich enough to wear through the fall and the whole year-round.
Here are the swatches of the OPI Mustang collection, and my thoughts on these.
OPI Angel With a Lead Food is a nice, basic white cream. I have a ton of nail polishes, but I notice that I lack basics like black and white. I am excited to have this one in my collection. It is opaque in two coats, and although streaky on the first coat, the second coat evens things out.
OPI 50 Years of Style
OPI 50 Years of Style is a beautiful gold shimmer. It's not a very unique color because I've seen OPI do a lot of variations on this kind of shade, but I like this one because it doesn't look too flashy. The shimmer is subdued and looks very elegant.
OPI Girls Love Ponies
OPI Girls Love Ponies
OPI Girls Love Ponies is my favorite from this collection. I love the hot pink color! It's a beautiful pink cream and the formula is just amazing. It is fully opaque in two coats.
OPI Race Red
OPI Race Red is a very pretty warm orange-toned red. Like OPI Girls Love Ponies, the formula is amazing and it virtually applies itself.
OPI The Sky's My Limit
OPI The Sky's My Limit is a metallic blue with micro-flecks of gold. This is gorgeous! If you are looking for a blue with a bit of dimension, check this one out. I love how the gold flecks stand out agains the metallic blue background, especially under the shade.
OPI Queen of the Road
OPI Queen of the Road
OPI Queen of the Road is an edgy, black shimmer polish. I love that it's not a true black cream but has a sort of greyish tint to it. I love this! The color is perfect for fall.
All in all, I am loving this collection. It may be small, and some colors are not unique, but if you want colors like pink and red with great formula, check this collection out. Queen of the Road and The Sky's My Limit are also amazing stand-out colors.
Which ones pique your interest from this collection?
