As I've mentioned in my China Glaze Avant Garden Swatches and Review Part 1, this collection features a lot of really bright, springy and feminine shades that herald the upcoming change of seasons.
Here's Part 2 of the China Glaze Avant Garden Swatches
China Glaze Mimosas Before Manis (shade)
China Glaze Mimosas Before Manis has got to be my favorite shade out of the entire collection. It is such a gorgeous, dainty coral with golden shimmer. So pretty! The color also screams spring!
China Glaze Budding Romance (sunlight)
China Glaze Budding Romance (shade)
China Glaze Budding Romance is my least favorite from this collection. The color reminds me of something disgusting and nasty. If it were a little more green or a little more yellow, I would have liked it. It's not even a moss-like green - it's too yellow. Enough said.
China Glaze Sunday, Funday (sunlight)
China Glaze Sunday, Funday (shade)
China Glaze Sunday, Funday is the perfect name, as it is such a fun color. Beautiful bright aqua that is the perfect color on your tips and toes as you lounge at the poolside.
China Glaze Passion for Petals (sunlight)
China Glaze Passion for Petals (shade)
China Glaze Passion for Petals is a very pretty coral-y pink. You can also say it's like a watermelon pink. Very spring and summery, and very feminine as well.
China Glaze Snap My Dragon (sunlight)
China Glaze Snap My Dragon (shade)
China Glaze Snap My Dragon is a hot pinkish red with heavy dose of shimmer. I love the shimmer as it gives dimension to the nail look.
China Glaze Fancy Pants (sunlight)
China Glaze Fancy Pants (shade)
China Glaze Fancy Pants is a bright blurple (blue-purple) also with quite apparent purplish pink shimmer. The shimmer is what makes it unique, although it is like a secret kind of shimmer indoors as it is not apparent under low light. It is very pretty under direct sunlight, though.
All in all, this is such a fun bunch of colors that are perfect spring and summer shades. My favorites are definitely Mimosas Before Manis, Sunday Funday, Fade Into Hue, Passion for Petals and Tart-y for the Party.
