Sea Lore Nail Polishes in Aquata, Alana, Adella Swatches and Review

Sea Lore in Aquata over Barry M. in Cyan Blue

I was able to try another indie nail polish brand and it's called Sea Lore. The names and color concepts are really nice as they are derived from, as the brand name says, sea lore and mythical sea creatures. I was able to try three of the polishes and I was really impressed with Aquata. It's not your usual indie glitter but a deep sea blue jelly base with blue shimmer and blue iridescent flakies. Even the flakies are not in-your face but quite subtle but noticeable. I think this is my favorite out of the three that I've tried. So beautiful! I just used one coat over Barry M. in Cyan Blue.

Sea Lore in Adella over OPI Thanks a Windmillios

Adella is a beautiful yellow-greenish gold in a jelly base with mint green hexes, gold glitter, and golden shimmer. It was a particularly scorching hot day when I swatched these so you can definitely see the glare in the photos. Nonetheless, the polish looks really pretty. I applied it over OPI Thanks a Windmillion, a dusty green cream.

Sea Lore in Alana over Max Factor in Diva Violet

Alana is so girly. It's described as "[a] sea anemone pink jelly polish with rose colored hexes and rose shimmer". I love rose-colored glitter especially since Breast Cancer Awareness month is coming up, I love to wear pinks and roses. I used this over Max Factor in Diva Violet, a cream lavender-pink.

All in all, I was impressed with these polishes. I am in love with Aquata, perhaps one of the best flakies I own. The glitter polishes need a second coat of top coat because glitters are notorious for eating top coats, but other than that, they have good consistency and texture and lasted well on my nails.

You can purchase Sea Lore on the Sea Lore website, and they will be available soon on shop.llarowe.com.
