Nail Look: Sally Hansen Flakie Top Coat in Hidden Treasure Over Brown Base
Saturday, December 4, 2010
Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure has been one of the most coveted Sally Hansen nail polishes, and it's not even a polish per se. It is a flakey top coat that makes beautiful nuances of the polish layered over it. Hidden Treasure is exactly what its name says it is. Many are looking for this treasure because it is basically flakie heaven in a bottle. Some people even had a list of Walgreens locations where Hidden Treasure was sighted. I haven't seen any Hidden Treasure anywhere since June or July, but I love it nonetheless. For a dupe, you can always get Nubar's flakie top coat called 2010.
I don't remember the name of the brown polish that I used as a base for this nail look, but it is a brown cream. I like that it looks very fall-ish, like autumn leaves.

Love it! Looks so pretty over brown! Never thought about this combo!
Hidden Treasure is like magic, isn't it? I have 2 bottles and I'm holding onto them. Using it over brown is unique; I don't think I've seen it over brown before. Love it!
i saw you mention something about poor stamp pick up from asian fauxnad plates bought off of ebay -- what exactly was your experience with that? i am seeing some cute images on plates for 1.99 so i assume these are what you mean. what was so bad about them?
Beauty Addict- thank you, I am loving this combination :)
Kimberly- I have two as well and I have a feeling I will be using up both; I love this flakie top coat.
Topaznails- the images just didn't adhere properly to the stamp - portions of the images wouldn't transfer. They were a waste of money.
